Applicable on SC505, SC505a & SC505N -- The Shark Professional Portable Steam Cleaner takes approximately 6 minutes to reach its working temperature and is ready for use when the red light on the side of the unit turns green.
Applicable on SC505, SC505a & SC505N -- Check to make sure you have attached an accessory. The unit has a steam shut off safety, which is activated if the unit is used without an accessory. If you have not attached an accessory, please do so and press the trigger button on the handle down.
Applicable on SC505, SC505a & SC505N -- The steam cleaner has a locking trigger button located on the handle. Push the trigger button down to start the flow of steam and slide the trigger release (located below the trigger button) down to pop the trigger button up and stop the flow of steam.
Applicable on SC505, SC505a & SC505N -- The Steam Cleaner will run for approximately 30 minutes before you must refill.
Applicable on SC505, SC505a & SC505N -- It is time to refill the steam cleaner when steam is no longer coming out of the nozzle.
