For optimal performance we recommend using the DuoClean Nozzle exclusively with the HV380series.
The Shark Rocket Complete is equipped with DuoClean Technology. Instead of a single brush bar, it has two brushrolls engineered to work in unison, removing large debris and fine dust particles from all of your floors and carpets.

There are two ways to clean with the accessories: -Either separate the handheld vacuum from the rest of the unit by pressing the Wand Release button; or keep the wand connected to the handheld vacuum and separate them from the floor nozzle by stepping on the foot pedal release. -Slide the desired accessory onto the end of the handheld vacuum or wand. -Choose the desired cleaning accessory and slide the desired cleaning accessory onto the end of the handheld vacuum or the end of the wand. Then wrap The cord around The cord hooks to keep it safe and secure. -Alternatively, You can set The vacuum flat on thhe floor or against a piece of furniture. The rubber pads on The base of The dust cup prevent scratching.

If the brushroll indicator light on the floor nozzle turns red, the brushrolls have stopped spinning. Immediately turn off and unplug the vacuum, disconnect the nozzle, and remove the blockage before reconnecting and turning vacuum back on. If the brushroll indicator light is green, the blockage has been successfully cleared.
The powerful LED headlights are designed to illuminate debris in dark spaces to make cleaning more efficient. The headlights will go on and stay on whenever the power is on. The headlights are designed to last for the entire life of the vacuum, so they never need replacing.
This vacuum cleaner is equipped with a motor protective thermostat. If for some reason your vacuum overheats, the thermostat will automatically turn the unit off. Should this occur, perform the following steps to restart the motor thermostat: 1. Turn the unit off 2. Unplug the vacuum 3. Empty the dust cup, check for clogs and clean the filters 4. Check for blockages in tube, accessories and inlet openings 5. Allow the unit to cool for a minimum of 45 minutes then plug in the vacuum 6. Press the power button to start the vacuum.
For optimal performance, it is recommended to clean the filters regularly. Between washings, hold your filter over a trash bin and lightly tap clean to knock off any excess dust or other particules.

-There are 2 easy ways to empty the dust cup. Make sure the unit is unplugged first. Then remove the dust cup by squeezing the 2 "Dust Cup Release" latches on both sides of the dust cup base and pulling it straight out. Place the rest of the vacuum on the floor. Hold the dust cup over the trash and press the bottom door release button on the front to empty. To reattach, insert the dust cup straight back into the hand vac. -Or, separate the hand vac from the rest of the vacuum by pressing the wand release button. Next, hold the dust cup over the trash and press the bottom door release button on the front. -Tap gently to empty contents or wipe clean with a soft cloth. Press the door shut again until it clicks. The dust cup should be emptied each time you vacuum and when the dust cup appears full, or for optimal performance, when it reaches the max fill line.
To open the brushroll garage, simultaneously push on the two brushroll access buttons on the top of the floor nozzle. The brushroll garage door will pop open. Remove the brushroll by lifting up on its PULL tab. Use the included hair removal tool to pull hair and debris off of the brushroll. Insert the brushroll back into the garage by inserting the right side first and then pushing the left side down. Close the brushroll garage completely before using the vacuum.
Slide the Soft Roller eject button up to eject the Soft Roller. Use the onboard hair removal tool located in the compartment on the nozzle to clear away any hair/fiber buildup behind the roller housing. If needed, wash the Soft Roller using only water and let air-dry completely for at least 24 hours. DO NOT put the Soft Roller in the dish washer or washing machine.
1. Make sure the nozzle is flat against the floor and the handle is tilted back. 2. Make sure either setting I (for Bare Floor/Area Rugs) or setting II (for High Pile Carpets) is engaged. 3. If the red light is illuminated on the floor nozzle, check for blockages. 4. Open the brushroll garage and take out the brushroll. Use the included hair removal tool to carefully clear away any excess hair or fibers wrapped around the brushroll. Avoid damaging or cutting the bristles. 5. Flip the floor nozzle over and remove the soft roller. Clear any hair or debris that might be in the roller housing by using the brush side of the hair removal tool 6. Check that the handheld vacuum and wand connectors are fully engaged and are making an electrical connection with the floor nozzle.

When analyzing smell issues, insure the dust cup is empty and has no material that is causing a smell.Also, filter cleaning can affect odors.In all cases related to smoke and or smoke smell the call needs to be transferred to claims.
Under certain conditions, these pads can wear more quickly than others. These pads are not a factor in cleaning performance and should not be considered a defect that needs to have an action taken.
As the soft brush roll change over time, it may develop some grooves in it. This is a normal development as the soft brushroll changes over time. It does not affect the performance of the overall cleaning experience.
There are no removable parts on the brush rolls. You may wash the rollers with water and allow them to dry overnight if you desire.

We recommend doing a visually inpection of your brushroll periodically. If you notice any debris or hair build up then the brushroll would need to be cleaned.
Ask if the customer has any additional electronics plugged into the outlets. If yes " Please unplug any additional electronics before using the vaccuum this should resolve the issue. If the customer does not have any additional electronics plugged in the agent would issue a replacement.
